You may have already heard of "3 Free", "4 Free" or "5 Free" natural nail polishes and sometimes even "8 Free".Today, with Clever Beauty nail polishes, we have opted for a non-toxic "10 Free" formula. "10 Free" nail polishes are the most natural nail polishes you can find to date.
This means that 10 ingredients suspected or proven to be harmful to health have been removed from the formula.
The ingredients that have been removed are:
- Formaldehyde
- Toluene
- Rosin
- Styrene
- Xylene
BYE-BYE ENDOCRINE DISRUPTORS!
Endocrine disruptors are artificial chemical substances foreign to the body that can interfere with the functioning of the endocrine system.
This is why these natural nail polishes are also suitable for pregnant women and children, as the chemical substances that affect the hormonal system are no longer present.
These endocrine disruptors have also been removed, such as Dibutyl phthalate, parabens, camphor and benzophenone.

WHAT REMAINS IN THESE POLISHES?
Our polishes are made from bio-sourced solvents derived from cassava, corn and cotton, and some are even enriched with green tea and avocado extracts. This means that they have been extracted by bacterial fermentation from these natural raw materials. These ingredients are, of course, not chosen at random.
Cassava, used to add texture to polishes, has several qualities. In its raw state, given its high folic acid content, cassava is recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
It improves the mother's health and prevents diseases in children.
Cassava is also rich in vitamin C and B9.
Corn, which provides shine, is rich in vitamins A and E as well as antioxidants.
Cotton acts like the weave of a fabric, it binds all the ingredients together to ensure optimal hold for 4 to 6 days.
Our #12 Green Top & Base is a two-in-one and is enriched with green tea and avocado extract.
Rich in antioxidants, green tea reduces skin hypersensitivity by purifying and softening it.
Avocado, for its part, gently and deeply nourishes the cuticles.
